How Construction Xperts collects, uses and protects your personal information.

Who we are
This policy applies to Construction Xperts (Somnath Enterprises Pty Ltd, ABN 90 608 572 685). We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- Enquiry and quote details you give us: name, phone, email, suburb or address, project details, budget and timeframe, and any files you send.
- Business details for commercial enquiries: company name and ABN.
- Website usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, and how you arrived (for example a search engine or advertisement), collected through cookies and similar tools.
- Call records if you phone us, which may include call recordings where you are told at the start of the call.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry, visit your site and prepare a quote
- To manage your project if you engage us
- To send updates and building tips, only if you opt in (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- To understand how our website is used and improve it
How our forms and tools work
- Quote and contact forms: when you send a form, your details are emailed to us, and a backup copy is saved in a private file on our web host's server so an enquiry is never lost if an email goes astray.
- Saving your progress: the quote form keeps your answers in your browser while that tab is open, so a refresh doesn't wipe them. They're cleared once you send the form.
- How you found us: your browser remembers the first and latest page or ad that brought you to the site. That's sent with your enquiry so we know which of our marketing works.
- The renovate or rebuild tool runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us or anyone else.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, such as our website host, email and SMS providers, customer relationship software and analytics tools, and with designers, engineers, certifiers and trades working on your project. Some of these providers may store data outside Australia, including in the United States.
How we store and protect it
Your information is stored securely by us and our providers, and access is limited to people who need it. We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond and for our legal and business record-keeping obligations, then delete or de-identify them.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by contacting us at admin@constructionxperts.com.au. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to measure website traffic and the performance of our advertising. You can block cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.
